While the latter half of the 60's gave us Janis Joplin, Human Be-In's, Haight Ashbury, 
and Woodstock, the transitional period from the late 50's to the early 60's proved to be an extremely
 significant time for rock n roll. It was artists like Neil Sedaka, The Shirelles, Fats Domino, Chubby Checker,
 Maxine Brown and Leslie Gore and writers like Carole King and Gerry Goffin just to name a few, thats sounds 
would soon transition into the likes of the Rolling Stones and The Beatles. Wishing we could all still 
jam out to 'The Loco Motion' and 'The Twist' and actually d a n c e at school dances, bars and clubs. 
What an era...
